Russell Westbrook is the fashion icon that everyone is loving these days. The 9-time All-Star and the MVP-awarded star is always turning heads with his trendy outfits. Surely, any man who sees him rocking those fits covets the confidence he has.

From adult-overalls, and Canadian tuxedos to bright kicks, he knows how to ace a fit. Russell Westbrook has been a part of many high-end fashion shows. He wore charming clothes and got snapped by the paparazzi. However, there is somebody who thinks otherwise. It is the former notorious running back of the Kansas City Chiefs, Larry Johnson. Yes, the guy who is infamous because of his attitude problems.

What’s the issue with Russell Westbrook?

But this time, the experimenter wore an outfit that only shocked Larry Johnson, as any real fashionista would agree how great of an outfit Westbrook rocked. Westbrook wore a modern and avant-garde-looking white kilt with an off-white cardigan. He wore leather boots to the Thom Browne fashion show. Certainly, the skirt was the real MVP of the event!

But Larry Johnson took it to Twitter to express his anger. In a now-deleted tweet, he said, “[Illuminati] ritual is upon us…There is an Effeminate Agenda going on amongst the NBA & NFL elite, peddled by high ranking Masons/handlers to indoctrinate the heterosexual sports world without them knowing, for the buying power of the LGBTQ community… But we not ready to have that conversation yet.” 

Does his opinion make sense?

The claims made by the former Chief have no head. The comment made by him can be offensive, as it demonizes the expression of one’s personal style. Also, how does somebody’s fashion sense make them Illuminati?

Westbrook is a man who can express his identity through clothes and can have fun while doing so. Although there will be people like Larry Johnson who will not support Westbrook’s decisions and style, it is not like he will listen to his nay-sayers and stop rocking the glam fits!
