Rumors of Bieber’s connection with a soccer legend’s daughter were rife. Now another link to the ex of an NFL star, has the internet buzzing. Interestingly, this connection came after Bieber was pulled over and arrested for a DUI charge which had an interesting passenger sitting in the pillion seat.

Almost a decade ago, Justin Beiber had been arrested on DUI charges, for drag racing under the influence of alcohol. However, the pop star wasn’t alone in the car. As per TMZ, he was with Chantel Jeffries at the time. Jeffries, the ex-girlfriend of NFL star DeSean Jackson, was traveling with Bieber when he had been pulled over.

At the time, Jackson was a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles. He had been involved with Chantel for a while. And she would take to social media and post pictures of the two. So what was their short-lived story?

The model-turned-DJ dated Jackson from December 2012 to May 2013. During the time of their relationship, she would take to Twitter and other social media to post pictures of the couple together. After the couple broke up, she was rumored to be involved with Bieber, a rumor that grew bigger after she was found alongside Bieber on the night of his DUI arrest.

Due to the DUI, the ex-Philadelphia Eagles NFL star remains connected to the story of Bieber and Jeffries. This wasn’t the first time that the sporting arena clashed with the entertainment world, and it certainly won’t be the last.
