Looks like the Baltimore Ravens have put Lamar Jackson’s contract saga in the past. Jackson has reportedly signed a mega contract extension with the Ravens during the offseason. He seems to have moved on from the knee problem which ended his 2022 season early, and there’s notably less drama now encircling the star quarterback. His five-year contract extension, inked in April, enabled him to join training camp without the burden of ongoingnegotiations hanging over his head.
Jackson is perhaps the greatest dual-threat quarterback the game has ever seen, and the Ravens always have been tough to beat when he’s healthy. Although things did look dicey for a while, the Ravens managed to retain their star quarterback.

Lamar Jackson: Fueling Ravens’ Fire with Passion and Precision!
Baltimore Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta highlighted his enthusiasm, improved throwing ability, and strong rapport with new receivers. He lauded quarterback Lamar Jackson’s frame of mind, “Lamar’s attitude has been excellent this year,” DeCosta said. “I think last year was a challenging year for a lot of reasons, obviously, just where he was with his contract. This year, his enthusiasm has been fantastic. He’s throwing the ball very well. He’s been able to build a great rapport with the receivers very quickly. He’s taking care of his body.” DeCosta is deeply impressed by Jackson’s dedication to the offseason and training camp, believing he has positioned himself for a successful journey ahead. “He seems really into the offense – he’s excited about it,” DeCosta said. “He has an awesome relationship with his coaches, and he worked very hard this offseason with some of the receivers that we brought in, which is awesome to see. I think it’s showing up and it’s going to pay dividends for us.“

“It’s just encouraging to have so much depth,” DeCosta said. “I will say this — it’s the first year where other teams have called us looking for receivers. I actually thought it was a joke at first.”
Lamar Jackson’s contract extension appears to have undeniably sharpened his focus on the forthcoming season while fostering stronger chemistry with new wide receivers.

At the same time, the additions of wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr., rookie Zay Flowers, and Nelson Agholor have significantly strengthened Jackson’s receiving unit, reaching an unprecedented level of depth.
