Lamar Jackson and his Baltimore Ravens didn’t need their full-strength squad to beat the Saints on Monday night. The Ravens breezed past the Saints and won the game 27-13. Lamar Jackson, as usual, was problematic for the Saints’ defense. However, even though his team won, the quarterback that strives for perfection found himself in a battle that was streamed on National Television.

Lamar threw 12 for 22 with a touchdown to his name. He also put on a mobility clinic, showing off his swift moves. Throwing no interceptions, the quarterback had done his job for the team. However, he was involved in a verbal back-and-forth with a teammate on one of their plays.

Profound NFL analyst Skip Bayless had a thing or two to say about this act. On his show, he called out Lamar Jackson after stating he was one of his biggest fans. Bayless thought Jackson’s demeanor was not right and set a poor example. He even thought there were contractual worries behind the quarterback’s frustration.

Ronnie Stanley and Jackson’s back and forth seemed very normal as Stanley took to a meme to react to Bayless’s comments. Even the Ravens QB got in on the jokes as he responded to him, showing some of his wit.

The Ravens sauntered past the Saints on Monday night. The Baltimore team is a force this year and has built a solid unit around their in-form quarterback. As most have recognized, such altercations could be common among players as they strive to bring the best out of their teammates. Sometimes, this could backfire. Something Bayless was trying to suggest. Fortunately for Ravens fans, they have little to worry about as all seems calm between both their athletes.
