The elite quarterbacks of the NFL, Tom Brady, and Russell Wilson, once faced each other at the Super Bowl XLIX. Brady and the New England Patriots won the game. However, Wilson thought he could once again face and defeat the NFL GOAT. Therefore, he not only called out the seven-time Super Bowl-winning QB, but also his wife, Gisele Bündchen, for a game of a sport that was unrelated to football.

Tampa Tom took part in ‘The Match: Champions for Charity.’ Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the professional golfer, Phil Mickelson, competed against former quarterback, Peyton Manning, and golfer, Tiger Woods. It was a nationally televised round of golf to raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts. Manning and Woods came out on top. But narrowly won against Brady and Mickelson.

Before the game, Russell Wilson took a friendly shot at the 45-year-old athlete. On Twitter, he posted a video taken from a scene from ‘Happy Gilmore,’ a 1996 Adam Sandler movie. A lot of friendly banter went on between the top quarterbacks.

Later, the 33-year-old challenged Brady and his wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, to a match against him and his wife, Ciara, on the golf course. Wilson issued the challenge on Twitter and even gave the wives the choice of having the match in Mexico or the Bahamas.
The first person to reply to the tweet was Brady’s supermodel wife. She wrote: “Hahaha I can’t play golf, but Mexico sounds like a good idea, they have great margaritas !” Pop star, Ciara, agreed with the former runway model, and looked forward to “Margaritas, Quesadillas, and Dancing.” Although a game between these two couples would be an interesting thing, nothing came out of the conversation.

Copying Tom Brady is not inherently a bad thing. After all, he is the most successful and honorable NFL athlete ever. But what Wilson copied are the victory videos that California Cool is so famous for sharing after his wins against numerous teams.
