The defending Superbowl Champions Los Angeles Rams released star wide receiver Robert Woods this offseason. This move came soon after the Rams signed Allen Robinson to the team and decided to take a different direction for the receiver spot.

Everyone speculated Woods might begin his next stint in a green jersey. But to everyone’s surprise, he chose the Titans over other top-tier clubs in the league. What’s more intriguing is that a player like Woods didn’t even think of opting for Green Bay Packers or the reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers. Despite the Packers having $17 million in cap space, Woods chose Ryan Tannehill and a competitively fading Tennessee Titans.

During the previous 2021 season, Rodgers had a standoff with the Packers over some conflicts of interests. He raised concerns over the team’s decisions for not involving him in recruiting players for the season.

However, after reconciling and agreeing upon some mutual conditions, Rodgers became a decorated member. However, failing to retain their wide receivers for the upcoming season.
Davante Adams was signed by the Packers in 2014, and after serving for such a long duration, he left the team. Similarly, Scantling was an asset that fans thought would be permanent retention.
However, again, the Packers released him, and the free-agent signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
