The Super Bowl game of the season is set. The Los Angeles Rams will be taking on the Cincinnati Bengals. It is one of the most anticipated games in recent history. The Rams will be taking part in the big game for the second time in three years. Many Rams players will make their second appearance, including Aaron Donald. 

Making it to the Super Bowl once is a dream of every football player ever. Let alone play it twice. Not many men achieve that feat. Donald is ready and excited to get on the field on February 14.

Aaron Donald opens up about playing in the Super Bowl again 

Aaron Donald was a part of the Rams squad when they faced off against the New England Patriots in 2019. Coming off an incredible season, Los Angeles made it to the finals where they met Tom Brady. This game got Brady his final Super Bowl ring with the Patriots. Despite the hard work put in by the Rams, they fell to New England. The Patriots won the game with a dominating score of 13–3.  

Aaron Donald was just happy to be there for the first time. But now he will be more focused. The defensive beast said, “This time around, I could honestly say you appreciate it that much more.”

Donald continues, “Not saying I didn’t appreciate it the first time, but you get there the first time, you’re kind of thinking you’re going to get back the following year, it don’t work like that. Having an opportunity to battle and find a way to get here, you just appreciate it that much more.” 

The journey has been very challenging for Donald and the Rams. But they are keeping their eyes on the prize. 

A brief look at the 2022 Super Bowl game

The team standing between the Rams and the trophy is the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have made it to the finals for the first time since 1988. They have never won the Super Bowl. Cincinnati should not be overlooked, however. They have an incredible roster, and they have scored many upsets on their way to the finals. 

The young blood quarterback Joe Burrow has been very impressive ever since he came back from injury. He will be a big factor in the game and definitely the player to look out for during the game.
