NFL franchise Los Angeles Rams coach Sean Mcvay was expressing pleasure at the release 0f pressure from QB Matthew Stafford. The former Detroit Lions QB never won a playoff game during his time in the Motor City. The 33-year-old veteran QB was really calm and did display composure while executing plays. The Arizona defense was already under siege by halftime as LA ran into a 21-0 lead.

Stafford has been under immense pressure to deliver with the talent and quality at his disposal. He was before this victory 0-3 in the postseason. The terrible display by Arizona in both the offense and the defense only was complementary to the Rams game plan. The Rams QB was steady as he did complete 13 of his 17 passes for 202 yards.

He has been under the cosh over him fading away at the first real challenge. But now with an informal and firing roster under his control and will, there hasn’t been a better situation for Stafford to thrive within.

The 13-year struggle he did spend with the Detroit Lions seems to have nicely set him up for success. He has a better offensive line with him at the Rams than he ever did possess at the Lions. The chemistry and understanding between all the players is a strength that will be up for the test on the next outing.

Coming up for the Rams, are the defending champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who will be a different and tougher challenge than Arizona. QB Tom Brady has made a legacy of slaying some of the best teams the NFL has ever seen. Stafford has another date to shine and it will be one of the biggest in his career.
