The DE athlete suffers an ACL injury Friday at the Wolverines’ Pro Day in Michigan. His current status remains a mystery entering April’s draft. It is indeed completely unfair for Ojabo, and perhaps he’ll recover considerably speedier from his setback.

Kyler Murray voices his concern

In a tweeted video shared by Bucky Brooks, while running exercises in front of scouts, Objabo, a projected first-round pick, is seen clutching his left knee. The video also shows that after he fell on the turf, a person took the ball away and no one came in to check on the athlete.

Moreover, Brooks shares his opinion, where he questions the scarcity of empathy over new prospects. He states, I know the [NFL] is a cold business but watching the lack of concern or empathy from the scouts, coaches, and observers following David Ojabo’s injury bugs me…”

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray quotes his response over a tweet, saying, “This is wild… smh.”

Following tests, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports on Saturday that Ojabo’s injury is officially a torn Achilles in the knee. However, a coin has two sides.

In a different capture by NFL senior columnist Jeffri Chadiha, people surrounded the athlete as medical help comes in to check over the athlete.

Ojabo was born in Nigeria, grew up in Scotland, and travels to the United States in search of the next stage in his athletic career. In 13 games in 2021, the 21-year-old athlete had 35 tackles,12 for loss, 11 sacks, five forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. David Ojabo can be a godsend for Atlanta if the team thinks he can contribute right away once he’s fit. The athlete may miss round one depending on the seriousness of his ailment, but he may still be a factor for clubs towards the end of the frame.
