Travis Kelce didn’t forget all the talk that came from Cincinnati before the game. And he wasn’t going away without giving a piece of his mind. After the Chiefs finally overcame the Bengals and made it to their third Super Bowl in four years, Kelce had just a few words to say.

“Woooo, Burrowhead my a*s,” the tight end said, interrupting Patrick Mahomes during an on-field interview.

 The NFL world was shocked after watching this and reminded Kelce of the Chiefs’ overall record against Joe Burrow. Many fans also pointed out some questionable calls that went against the Bengals. This fan reminded the Chiefs about their overall record against Burrow.

The mayor of Cincinnati Aftab Pureval issued a proclamation before the game, calling the Chiefs home as the ‘Burrowhead’ Stadium. It did not go down well with the Chiefs kingdom. And Kelce probably wanted to remind everyone of that. The Chiefs edged past the Bengals late in the fourth quarter to set up a Super Bowl clash with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Patrick Mahomes finally overcame the Joe Burrow frontier that eluded him in the past. Burrow came into the game with an undefeated 3-0 record against the Chiefs, including an AFC championship win last season. But the home team was too fired up to lose this one.

Mahomes threw 326 passing yards and two touchdowns for the Chiefs. Burrow turned the ball over twice through interceptions to make it a little easier for the home team. But they still had to sweat it out and won 23-20.
