Patrick Mahomes rules the Chiefs Kingdom at the moment. The Kansas City Chiefs QB led his team to a dramatic last-minute victory against the Los Angeles Chargers in week 11. And it is not the first time.

Mahomes shared a video of the moments in the Chargers matchday. Dramatic or not, it did make quite an impact, just like Mahomes on the field.

Video makes waves

Patrick Mahomes on Tuesday shared a Chiefs hype video on Instagram that is making quite the waves online. The video features moments from the Chiefs win against the Chargers with Kane Brown’s song ‘Grand’ playing in the background. Here is the video.


The video made a lot of waves on social media. The NFL fans flocked the comment section of the post to react to it.

“YAASSSS CHIEFS!!!!! Crushed it. KINGDOM FOREVER,” a fan replied.

“Goat,” singer Kane Brown replied to the video, adding the fire emoji 

“It was great seeing you all play! We rocked that stadium,” another fan said.

“MAGIC PAT,” a fan chimed in.

“Need that SB jersey this year,” another fan demanded with fire emoji.

“King!” a fan commented.

Mahomes led the Chiefs to a dramatic victory against the Chargers with a superb touchdown pass with just around half a minute left on the clock.

Patrick Mahomes has always been a reliable weapon for the Chiefs. He has come out with performances in so many crunch moments since his NFL debut. Mahomes also won the Super Bowl with the team in 2020 and backed it up with another SB appearance the next year. That has been his impact. And when the chips were down against the Chargers, Mahomes channeled his inner clutch-play to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat.

The clock was ticking. Less than a minute remained in the game. The Chiefs trailed the Chargers by four points. Mahomes found teammate Travis Kelce to score a touchdown and get a three points lead just over 30 seconds to go. The Chiefs’ defense held on and won 30-27.

Mahomes put on some great numbers in the game. He threw 20 completions for 329 yards. The QB also threw three touchdown passes in the game. The Chargers’ defense could not intercept any of his 34 pass attempts. The Chiefs sit at the top of the AFC West division table with an 8-2 record in 10 games. Mahomes looks set for another Super Bowl appearance this season. Can he and the Chiefs make it three in four?
