While Tom Brady seems to have made his peace with retirement, the NFL world is still hopeful for a surprise return. Earlier reports of Brady making a potential return to the NFL were doing the rounds, but TB12 shut those down with a picture of his cat.
Being a father, both to his children and his cats, appears to be Tom Brady’s most recent commitment. However, one particular NFL Insider is still hopeful of seeing Brady out on the field and believes the Miami Dolphins to be his next choice of destination.

Earlier on his show, Rich Eisen gave way to a series of rumors, which led to Tom Brady being barraged with a series of questions. Eisen claimed to hear some chatter regarding Brady’s potential return to the NFL during the NFL Combine, “Number one rumor I heard at the combine… Tom Brady may not be done after all.”
While Brady has tactfully refrained from indulging in these rumors, the damage had already been done. Rich Eisen is perfectly aware of the situation he put Tom Brady in as he spoke about the whole thing on his show.
“And it killed me to do this because I love Tom Brady, with every fiber of my being and everything that he stands for and the last thing I wanted to do was make his life difficult even responded on Twitter. And I felt to myself like, oh God, he must be sitting there going really rich did this,” said Eisen on starting the rumors of Brady’s return.
However, Eisen believes that Brady is still keeping his options open. He even cited Brady refusing to sign a one-day contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the New England Patriots as his intentions were to remain a free agent just in case something exciting pops up.
While Eisen refuses to let go of this particular narrative, certain comments made by Brady showcased his affinity to the Miami Dolphins.

Despite not putting on a Dolphins uniform, Tom Brady has found solace in Miami. Both Brady and his ex-wife have reshuffled their entire lives, and hope to co-parent their children in the Magic City.
Additionally, Brady shares a special bond with the Dolphins. During a recent appearance at the eMerge Americas technology conference in Miami, Brady was invited as the keynote speaker and soon had to answer questions about his ties to the Dolphins.
“I will say, now that I’m not affiliated with any team anymore, even though I had strong ties with a couple of teams, I do have some friends on the Dolphins that I really like, I wouldn’t say I necessarily root for them all the time, but I root for my friends to do well and several of them play for Miami,” said Brady.

While his response did not solidify the rumors of TB12 joining the Dolphins to any extent, it will help keep the rumor mill alive, or that’s what Rich Eisen believes.
