Kevin Durant’s bold Tom Brady prediction 

NBA star Kevin Durant recently appeared on the ‘The Etcs’ podcast to talk about NFL. Naturally, if anyone is talking about football, the name of Tom Brady naturally pops up. And when it did, Durant made a very bold prediction about probably the best QB in the history of the league. “I can see him. He is 45 years old playing football. He still looks good,” Durant said

Brady has seen an unprecedented slump in his form in the current season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 5-6 at the end of game week 12. Although they are at the top of their division, NFC South, but their position isn’t cemented yet. The Buccaneers will take on the New Orleans Saints in week 13 in an attempt to bring their season back on track.

Amid all the struggles, Brady is still fourth in the league passing yards rankings this season. The legendary QB has thrown 3,051 yards in the ongoing season. He has 14 passing touchdowns to his name while he has thrown just two interceptions. Does it look like his era is ending?

The Aaron Rodgers verdict

So according to Kevin Durant, Tom Brady will play till he is 50. But what about another legend who has been under the scanner this season? The Green Bay Packers are on the brink of elimination from the playoffs race. And Aaron Rodgers is facing uncertainty going forward.

Durant believes the world hasn’t seen the last of Rodgers at all. “Not it’s not. Did you see how he threw that football? He could still throw that thing,” Durant said, referencing Rodgers’ thumb injury. Rodgers is struggling with multiple injuries and his team has a 4-8 overall record this season. “I don’t think it is over. I mean, obviously the younger quarterbacks in the league, they have bright futures ahead of them. And you could obviously see the end with these two. But they aren’t liabilities out there. They still can play football,” Durant said about both Brady and Rodgers.

The fans aren’t yet ready to see both the legends hanging up their boots. And Durant’s predictions will serve as music to their ears.
