On the twenty-fourth episode of the podcast show, The ETCs With Kevin Durant, Kevin Durant, and Eddie Gonzalez talked about the various sports talk happenings around the NFL and the NBA. Kevin and Eddie also discussed the thrilling NFL Divisional game and who should win the Super Bowl.

Chiefs’ make their games too thrilling for Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant and Eddie discussed the NFL Divisional round match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. “It was insane,” Eddie referred to the last minutes of the fourth quarter of the Chiefs-Bills match. He said, “That’s what you wanna watch when you turn on a football game, right? You wanna see two quarterbacks just be unbelievable. And we saw that.”

KD added, “We talk about it all the time…… that NFL is the superior sport or hashtag the superior sport…. But the product that was put out there…. it was working towards that region, you know.” After that KD said, “I can’t stand the Chiefs. I can’t. They’re just so good.” 

According to Durant, the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Chiefs are a good team, but they always keep the game close, which increases the tension. KD hates such tension-filled and intense game, he said, “I appreciate it because I like the sport, but this adds a little to-and-fro for me.”

Eddie agreed with Durant and added, “They are like the as***le teams for the other sides. It looked like the Bills did it, they hit the great ending, and then it’s like the super-villain comes on the field. It’s just like that.”

Bills-Chiefs game: wild and crazy

The game at Arrowhead Stadium on 23rd January was one of the wildest in NFL history. The Buffalo Bills played the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Playoffs in order to advance for the AFC Championship. Even though the Chiefs defeated the Bills 42-36, the game was no easy task and was certainly not for the faint-hearted.

With 13 seconds remaining in the game, the Bills led 36-33. However, amazing gameplay by Patrick Mahomes tied the score. This was one of the most incredible comebacks ever seen, and it sent the game into overtime.

The Chiefs won the coin toss and gained possession of the ball. Patty Mahomes and company made a few great plays and scored a touchdown. Consequently, Bills couldn’t gain possession of the ball and ultimately, lost the match to Kansas City. Finally, the Chiefs advanced to the AFC Championship and the Bills on the other side.
