College romances are always special in the NFL community. Whether it’s the Mahomes couple or the Rivers couple or any other sweethearts, each with its own interesting love story. Apart from them, there is another college romance that has captured the world’s hearts emotionally.
The Stafford couple’s journey has been a mix of sweet and bitter memories. Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford, and his beautiful wife, Kelly Stafford, tied the knot on April 4, 2015. However, throughout their seven years of marriage, they have encountered serious issues that have caused both of them considerable distress, particularly Kelly.

After their dreamy wedding in 2015, Kelly and Matthew went on to have four children together. However, their journey to parenthood was not without its challenges. When they were trying to conceive their first child, they faced complications and ultimately decided to undergo the IVF process. Kelly has been open about the tragic incidents she experienced during her IVF journey, discussing them in interviews and her podcasts. Recently, she took to Instagram during a Q&A session, where fans had the opportunity to ask her about her IVF journey, the process itself, and various other related inquiries. She shared personal stories and insights with her followers, providing a glimpse into her experiences with IVF.

She shared fourteen stories on her Instagram account, informing her fans that she would provide significant answers to their queries. She posed a question, asking, “What do you want to know about our IVF journey?” Kelly emphasized the importance of speaking openly about her experiences to assist others going through a similar phase. She answered her fans’ questions, including inquiries about her doctor. Addressing her infertility, Kelly responded, ?There were a multitude of things. Pcos, both my fallopian tubes were blocked?? She chose not to disclose additional reasons. Due to these factors, the chances of a natural pregnancy were significantly low. Kelly also revealed that identical twins Sawyer and Chandler were born through IVF in 2017, but surprisingly, she had a natural birth with Hunter in August 2018.
She mentioned the emotional and mental challenges of IVF and the significance of finding support from friends and family. In response to another query about how long they tried before opting for IVF, Kelly said, ?It was decided by Matthew and I that I would get off of birth control before our wedding.?

At the University of Georgia, Kelly was a cheerleader, while Matthew served as the starting quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs. After dating for a few years, they married in April 2015 and embarked on their IVF journey in August 2016. Following the birth of their children, Sawyer and Chandler, in 2017, Kelly experienced challenges in her body image and found it difficult to be intimate with Matthew. She also battled postpartum depression and felt exhausted during that time.

Additionally, via People Magazine, Kelly is a cancer survivor. In 2019, she revealed in an emotional Instagram post that she had been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor known as an acoustic neuroma and would be undergoing surgery. The operation lasted for 12 hours instead of the initially planned six hours due to the surgeon’s discovery of an “abnormal” vein in her skull, which extended the procedure. Kelly is an incredibly strong woman who has not only confronted life-threatening challenges but has also managed to handle occasional criticism directed at her husband by fans. To her, Matthew is her ?champion.?
