Dak Prescott has no plans of underestimating the Packers led by the reigning NFL MVP. Prescott is well aware of Aaron Rodgers’ abilities to lead his team even during a tough time and will heavily depend on the Dallas defense to hold no.12 down.
Dak doesn’t want to give Aaron Rodgers a chance
Aaron Rodgers is going through a rough phase with the Packers’ offense. A-Rod threw a career-high 3 interceptions in the loss against the Detroit Lions. The Lions are the worst-ranked defense in the entire league and Green Bay Packers only got 9 points past them. His 291 yards of passing weren’t good enough in the 15-9 loss last Sunday. Rodgers has mentioned in previous weeks about the lack of a good receiver in the Packers’ offense after the departure of Davante Adams.
Dallas Cowboys are on a good run with a 6-2 record. However, franchise QB Dak Prescott thinks Aaron Rodgers is still a major threat to any defense. “Just playing a guy like that and understanding how great he is and what he’s gonna try to do in offense. For us, it’s about keeping our defense fresh, getting in some long drives and keeping him off the field,” Prescott said.

Dak Prescott wasn’t the only one to praise A-Rod. Dallas linebacker and mid-season Defensive Rookie of the Year, Micah Parsons also had nice things to say about the 2011 Super Bowl champion. Parson said that he looks up to the veteran quarterback as an inspiration and wants to do a good job blocking his offense on Sunday.

Can A-Rod start the Packers’ comeback against the Cowboys?
The Green Bay Packers are 3-6 this NFL season and have lost their last 5 regular season games. The Cowboys have won their last two games and look to continue their winning run after the return of their QB from injury. Aaron Rodgers has a tough task ahead with the current lack in the receiving department. Allen Lazard led all receivers against the Detroit Lions, with only 87 receiving yards on 4 receptions and the only touchdown for the Packers.

WATCH STORY: Aaron Rodgers refuses claim that Detroit Lions defense played the main part in Packers loss
Rodgers has 2091 passing yards this season. However, he ranks 27th in QBR ratings. The Packers have won four out of their last five meetings with their rivals, the Cowboys. With history on his side, can Aaron Rodgers script a Green Bay comeback for the season against Dallas on Sunday?
