Los Angeles hosted the Super Bowl LVI at the SoFi Stadium. As a result, celebrities attended the biggest game in greater numbers than usual. Among the many popular guests was rapper Kanye West, who attended the game with his children. Before the game kickoff, Odell Beckham Jr decided to pay a visit to Kanye and tossed his gloves to his kids.

Beckham came into the game in great spirits. The fact that this was his first Super Bowl gave him even more reason to be excited. Additionally, after failing to reach the Super Bowl with the Giants and Browns, he was eager to prove his worth. Therefore, he showered his love over Kanye’s kids, Saint and North, in the same positive manner.

In addition, the gloves Kanye’s kids received, bore significance because OBJ was the one who scored the first touchdown for the Rams. Thus, Kanye’s kids would have a memory from the big game that they would treasure forever. Kanye shot the entire video of the gloves exchange and shared it over his Instagram account.

Odell Beckham Jr. puts up a big first quarter

It was an incredible game for OBJ until the second quarter. During the second quarter, Beckham was down in pain as he attempted to grab a pass from Matthew Stafford. He has sustained an injury to his list knee in a non-contact play.

It was the same knee on which he tore his ACL while playing for the Browns in the 2020 NFL season. In consequence, he was escorted into the locker room. Finally, the word came late in the second half that he has been ruled out. In the few minutes he played, OBJ caught two of the three passes for 52 yards and scored the Rams’ first touchdown.

Despite OBJ not being able to play for the Rams for four quarters, his great start did contribute to the Rams’ victory. Whenever a team is off to a solid start, it puts the opponent team under pressure. Consequently, the Los Angeles Rams crushed the Cincinnati Bengals and won the Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.
