Jalon Daniels is a talented and up-and-coming quarterback for the Kansas Jayhawks. Despite being only 19 years old, Daniels has already demonstrated exceptional skills and potential on the football field. He is renowned for his powerful throwing arm and agility, which enable him to make precise passes and prolong plays with his quick footwork. Not only his skills, but Daniels also has other things to flex like his expensive watch.

Thanks to the Jayhawks’ coaching team, Daniels has the potential to become an essential player for the team in the future. However, Daniel has made the news with his latest bling. The NIL era in college football has resulted in numerous incidents over the past two years, but Jalon’s impressive appearance at ‘Big 12 Media Days’ stands out. The starting quarterback for Kansas arrived in Arlington, Texas, with eye-catching jewelry around his neck.

Last season, Daniels was a standout player who helped the Jayhawks achieve a flawless 5-0 start to the year. He played quarterback in five games, throwing for 983 yards, 11 touchdowns, and only one interception. However, Daniels made headlines off the field when he appeared at the Big 12 media day wearing a diamond chain that highlighted his best moments.

The quarterback for the Jayhawks wore a stylish tan suit and red tie, accessorized with a chain. He explained to the reporters that the chain represented his journey to stardom at KU and was meant as a tribute. “Just a reminder to everyone I’m walking around; this is what I do. I like to play football. I like to play quarterback. I like to score touchdowns.” Daniels bought the jewelry from Ivy J Jeweler, located in Los Angeles. This was inspired by store owner Gambit, who was seen sporting a similar piece earlier in the year.

“You can literally have a new chain every day,” he said. Entering his fourth season with the Jayhawks, Daniels had an impressive 2022 campaign, completing 66.1% of his passes. However, his dream season was derailed due to a shoulder injury.

The injury that pushed JD back

Per a Lawrence Journal-World report the star Kansas Jayhawks QB couldn’t play for the remainder of the 2022 season due to a Grade 3 separation in his right shoulder. During a game against TCU, Daniels was taken out of play in the latter part of the second quarter. Kansas ended up losing the game 38-31. But Jalon made a comeback in a game against Texas. He threw an average of 199 yards in his final two regular-season games.

Later, he had his best game of the year during Kansas’ bowl game against the powerful SEC team, Arkansas. He threw for 544 yards and five touchdowns, which was quite impressive. Overall, his performance was strong, especially since he was coming in as a relief player. “It’s really a credit to him. We all recognize that. I stood here in August and talked about [Bean] playing well, and it wasn’t just to appease him.” It is worth watching Daniels as a quarterback prospect for the 2024 draft class. Although he might not be the first pick, he is an intriguing candidate.
