The offseason buzz surrounded Tyreek Hill after he took off to Miami. The wideout did not settle in negotiations with the Chiefs, which led to the move. It looked like a sizable loss for the Grim Reaper, as Hill was the WR1. But after Kansas City showcased dominance in their season opener game, Mayor Lucas looks thrilled.

Mayor Quinton Lucas tweeted, “So, guys, what are we gonna do without Tyreek?” The tweet seems to be a subtle jab over the wide receiver. Indeed, he is a Chiefs’ Superfan and adored Hill when he ran for the Chiefs.

In fact, it perturbed Mayor Quinton when the Tyreek Hill trade came out in public over Twitter. He expressed his disappointment by tweeting“I may get to okay. I’m not there yet. Maybe one day, but not there yet.” For Hill, the money became a turmoil among both parties, leading to him getting a trade.

After Cheetah took off, the Kansas City Chiefs left no tables unturned to address the receiver trouble. The franchise got in JuJu Smith Schuster and Marquez-Valdez Scantling during free agency. They also picked up rookie Skyy Moore out of Western Michigan. Safe to say, it was a solid win.

The Grim Reaper went 30 for 39 with 360 yards, five TDs, and no interceptions. The scores came on throws to Travis Kelce, Jody Fortson, and Mecole Hardman. Even running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire recorded two receiving touchdowns. The Chiefs’ defense also contributed to charring the Cardinals. They set a vigorous declaration and rocked up as the superior team. They could be on the fast track for the Lombardi with such a pace. Will the Chiefs lift the trophy again? It is open to scrutiny.
