Patrick Mahomes has been a superstar himself since the day he got drafted. Although he is a bit out of form this season, but he certainly seems to catch up one game after the other to keep up with his streak for the previous two seasons to reach the Super Bowl.

And so, after claiming a much-needed win against the Redskins, the Chiefs head towards the Nissan Stadium to go up against the Tennessee Titans in their Week 7 clash. But the Titans happen to be the den of a lion which Mahomes believes is ‘one of the best running backs of all time.’

Patrick Mahomes believes him to be one of the best of all time

And since the Chiefs’ defense has been struggling for quite a while, it is surely going to be a challenge for them to contain this running back. Well, that running back happens to be Derrick Henry. Yes, Mahomes has great respect for the 27-year old and he believes that the key to win against them is to stop him from scoring.

“I think he presents a challenge for everybody,” Mahomes said. “I mean, he’s one of the best running backs, to me, of all time, the way he’s able to run the football to get 20, 30, whatever, 40 carries it is and then he comes back the next week and he’s just as fresh as the week before.”

He further adds, “He’s a special talent who works his tail off to be who he is, and so we understand it’s gonna be a great challenge for any defense to stop him, but we’re gonna try to do the best we can to limit him as much as possible.”
