The Kansas City Chiefs may come off strong with a win. However, it came off with a substantial cost. The franchise was already slim in their options at the receiver end. But it came down to downright ugly after the latest injury strike. It all came down during the Kansas City-Los Angeles game when WR Kadarius Toney came into the injury zone.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are running strong in the AFC West and are sitting atop the division. However, the injury strike has become rather lethal this year, and the Kansas City Chiefs also fell prey to it. It also struck the franchise during the Week 11 game, and their situation looks bleak.
As per Chiefs Wire, Kadarius Toney sustained a hamstring injury during the second quarter. Since there was no stagnation for the injuries sustained, it is hard to predict what happened to the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest trade acquisition. However, the team announced on Twitter that they ruled the WR questionable to come back.

However, that was not it. As per NFL.com, the Chiefs also ruled Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Juan Thornhill out of the Sunday night game during the second half. They sustained ankle and calf injuries, respectively.
With Toney off the game, the Chiefs have prime receivers like Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Justin Watson, and Skyy Moore. The franchise elevated Cornell Powell and Marcus Kemp from the practice squad.
