Mahomes even praised Season Payton for his tactics and the plays that he has put in place. He even believes that it will be an interesting game because of both the teams’ similar offenses.
He said, “Obviously then, you could see how all the stuff he has done for years and years has had success, and then you’re watching him on film, you can see all the different gameplay plays that they have as long as they are base plays.
“They do a great job of executing and getting the ball to their players, and I think it is very similar to what we do here, and it’s pretty cool to go against another great coach like that.”

The match-up with the Saints is an interesting fixture. The clash will see star quarterback for the Chiefs take on the New Orleans Saints’ returning star quarterback Drew Brees.
Brees has been one of the long-standing elite quarterbacks in the game, whereas Mahomes has recently risen to prominence on the back of a series of outstanding performances.
Their clash is one that has been highly anticipated. Brees went down with an injury earlier this season and wasn’t a lock to return to this game up until recently.
