Kansas City Chiefs fans turning a moment of honor into a moment of generosity

A Facebook group named, Chiefs Kingdom Memes originally planned to donate $13 increments in the honor of the 13 seconds that the Chiefs offense took to tie the game, before winning it in the overtime. The idea was to donate to the Patrick Mahomes’ Charitable Organization in increments of $13 donations. And donate $15 increments to the Mahomies Foundation.

However, that plan took a sharp turn when the group got the wind of the tradition followed by Bills fans to donate to other teams. The Chiefs then decided to make donations to their opponent’s charity of choice. It was certainly a great gesture performed by the Chiefs to spread love through the medium of football.
