There’s no time to waste” Andy Reid said, through the team’s website. “We’re not going to just go, ‘OK, we have everybody coming back and we’ll just run the same plays.’ No, we’re going to keep growing. I don’t think we came near to what we could be last year.”

Andy Reid started his tenure with the Chiefs in the year 2013. On his very first game, he led the team to a 28-2 victory against Jacksonville Jaguars. He ended his debut year with a commendable 11-5 record, with a start of 9-0. In 2014, however, he was only able to finish with a 9-7 record. Subsequently, failing to qualify for the playoffs. Reid’s career was hanging in the balance when the Chiefs started the 2015 season with a 1-5. However, they pulled off an emphatic return by winning every single one of their remaining games. In the same year, under Reid’s leadership, Chiefs won their first playoff game since 1994. Needless to say, if there’s anyone who grew progressively, it would be Reid. Hence, it isn’t surprising to see the 62-year-old urging his team to do better.
