Twitter turned all shades of Kansas City red as the young sensation, Patrick Mahomes turned 26 on Friday. The Kansas City Chiefs star is playing his fourth season with the franchise as a starting quarterback at just 26 years of age.

Patrick Mahomes’ achievements with the Chiefs

The youngster brings loads and loads of skills and talents to the table. As during his four season long career with the Chiefs, Patrick became the Most Valuable Player in his rookie year for throwing 50 touchdowns and 5097 yards, ultimately losing the AFC Championship game.

He started the next year as a starting QB for the Chiefs, leading them to a phenomenal Super Bowl victory for the team and the Super Bowl MVP in 2019 for himself. The following year, Mahomes fell shy of just a win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to brand himself a two-time Super Bowl winner.

However, during his two-year stay with the franchise, his achievements pronounced his hold in the quarterback spot for the next ten years. As Patrick Mahomes on July 2020 signed a ten-year contract extension worth up to $503 million, making him a Chief until 2031.

This star quarterback’s collection of accolades shines bright like diamonds and has proved to be one hell of a player in the past few years in the NFL. Kansas City Chiefs shared a gist of his tremendous performances on Twitter on the day of his birthday.

And obviously, his fans and the NFL made his birthday even more special with their tweets of love, support and affection.

With Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers playing at the later stages of their careers, Patrick is comparatively very young to them. And by the look of his competence and playmaking skills, he is by far the best quarterback in the league of his age. Patrick has still a long way to go as he has just got started, and if he continues to retain his form just like that, he may end up being the best quarterback in NFL history.
