Much to the dismay of Cheeseheads, the Green Bay Packers lost their star quarterback to the New York Jets. As he made a monumental decision to leave, Aaron Rodgers has taken his brilliant talents to the Big Apple. However, he has left behind a fan base that is arguably the most passionate one in the league. Packers Nation is infamous for its intense love for its team. With this intense love, also comes a staunch opposition of their rival teams. And they have no scarcity of rivals. At least three different teams from the NFL consider Packers their rivals. One among them is the Chicago Bears. Recently, a press conference also made it clear that even players from the organization get sucked into the feud between the teams.

Justin Jones, one of the defensive tackles from the Bears spoke about his dislike for the Packers’ fans. The clip of him roasting Packers fans went viral as he did not mince his words when he spoke to the press.

A Bear’s Conflict with Old Aaron Rodgers Supporters

Packers fans have been in Rodgers’ corner for almost 2 decades now. In fact, before he left, he inspired a lot of love and loyalty from his fans. Moreover, their loyalty is even more boisterous when they face off against one of their rivals. Recently, Justin Jones, a defensive tackle from the Bears spoke about his disdain for the Packers’ fans. He made an appearance in a press conference recently where he was asked for his thoughts on Rodgers’ move to New York. The tackle made it clear that he wanted Rodgers to stay so he could beat him once before he left. His main motivation came from wanting to silence the Cheeseheads.

He even took a jab at the fans and said, “Their fans are really sh*tty. So I wanted to go back out there and I wanted to play him and I wanted to beat him.” Jones made it clear that there was some unfinished business between him and the Bears. Jones also staunchly believed that the Packers fans did not really know anything about football.

While Jones made it clear that he did not like the fans, Green Bay fans are generally regarded as some of the most loyal fans in the league. Interestingly, the reasons for their popularity as fans come from very interesting reasons.

While players of opposing teams might find the fanbase obnoxious, Packers love their team, and with good reason. All in all, the Packers fans might draw the ire of other teams and players, but they are a dedicated bunch for their players. With such an intense group of fans, it only remains to be seen what kind of reception Rodgers will get from his team.
