NFL Insider Adam Schefter of ESPN has caused massive havoc on Twitter, as he updated some breaking news surrounding Oakland Raiders’ head coach, Josh McDaniels, the Bears quarterback Justin Fields, and free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

However, later everyone found out that it was not the real Adam Schefter; instead, it was just a parody account of the NFL insider. Interestingly, it had a blue badge and the same profile picture as Schefter. This incident questions Elon Musk and his plans for the Twitter verification process.

However, this incident showed a massive loophole in Musk’s new Twitter policy, as anyone can get verified now using an $8 subscription. While speaking about it, the Twitter user said, “It was 100% the blue checkmark… My bio and pinned tweet clearly state to not take my tweet as fact… As long as I am following those rules which Elon laid out, I do not think I will be suspended.”
