Rob Gronkowski sees Tom Brady playing till 2027
There are a lot of speculations about the future of Tom Brady in the NFL. And who better to answer anything related to that, apart from Brady himself, than Rob Gronkowski? The legendary tight end has played all his footballing life with the seven-time Super Bowl champion. In a recent interview with SBNation, Gronk said he can’t see his friend falling off even at the age of 45. And he gave his reasons for the prediction too.
“I think he can definitely play if he wants to. You don’t really see him falling off at all. He’s top five in the league in passing yards. So that’s just incredible at age 45. The zip on his ball is still there. It’s still very powerful. He’s reaching his targets with every single throw. So, you see no fall off at all,” Gronkowski said.
The four-time Super Bowl champion also predicted Brady to play till 50 if the QB wanted. And he had the same reasons for his assessment.
“I can see him going through to age 50 if he wanted to, but that’s up to him. But I definitely see him playing next year,” Gronk added.
Ever since Gronkowski retired from football, the Buccaneers have struggled offensively. The offensive output is far lower than it was last season. That has prompted many fans to request Gronk to come back for the team. After all, he has been a reliable outlet for Brady forever.
