The NFL season is nearly at the finish line. This weekend will be exciting for the fans with the Conference championship games. In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs who will be playing their 5th straight AFC game with Patrick Mahomes will host the Cincinnati Bengals. While Joe Burrow has been undefeated against the MVP frontrunner so far in his young NFL career, the Cincinnati fans have been overly optimistic. Even in the disrespect thrown toward Mahomes and his team.

Following the 3-0 record which goes against Mahomes, there have been a lot of questions about the match-up. One of these exploits for Burrow came in last year’s conference championship when the Bengals surprised the Chiefs to advance to the playoffs. If the ‘Chiefs Nation’ ever needed a word of reaffirmation, it would be now, and it has seemingly come through.

Patrick Mahomes’ partner sends a one-word message to the fans

With the growing raucous against Mahomes, his long-term partner and wife, Brittany Mahomes, has delivered a word that has brought the fanbase together. Brittany shared a post on Twitter. The original tweet read, “Waking up everyday to people trying to disrupt your peace can be so disheartening. But if I’ve learned anything over the years it’s that silence is truly golden. However, please don’t mistake my silence as agreement. I just know better than to argue with fools.”

Burrowhead lights a fire

Because of their 27-24 triumph in the Arrowhead Stadium last season, the Bengals’ fans have been now calling it the Burrowhead. The fans were worried for Mahomes as he had picked up a high ankle sprain against the Jacksonville Jaguars, last Sunday. But now the player has clarified that he doing well feeling ready to face his opponents. “Excited to get on the practice field and kind of test it out and see where I’m at. But it’s feeling good so far. I felt better than I thought I was going to be after the game.” Mahomes said on his injury.
