The Deion Sanders effect has already taken over Colorado! An impressive streak of three consecutive wins and Heisman contender-like performance has become the talk of the town. However, leading up to the Week 3 showdown, Coach Prime found himself on the receiving end of some jabs from his opponent, Coach Jay Norvell. He directly criticized Sanders for his choice of attire, particularly his sunglasses and hats during press conferences, deeming it disrespectful to adults. He even went as far as to drag Sanders’ mother into the mix.

Recently, Sanders made an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, where he didn’t hold back in expressing his thoughts about Norvell. The discussion also delved into Sanders’ methods since taking the reins at Colorado, raising the potential for noteworthy developments in the college football scene.

When asked about the feud during the interview, Sanders expressed his genuine surprise at the whole turn of events. He also noted how Norvell had deviated from their previous amicable interactions and mutual compliments. In response, the entire crew enthusiastically shared their excitement about Prime’s journey and takeover at Colorado, acknowledging the significant impact he’s having on college football.

However, in a surprising twist, McAfee raised the topic of how other colleges might attempt to replicate Sanders’ success by recruiting athletes from various divisions via the transfer portal. He remarked, “You’re gonna get a coach that’s gonna use the transfer portal and they’re gonna bring in every great player in the country to one particular place,” followed by, “It’s just like Deion did it“. Sanders countered this by emphasizing the challenges of bringing in new players, and adapting them to a different culture and environment, all without breaking the bank.
