The Buffalo Bills are one of the most quiet teams in the NFL. Having never won a Super Bowl, their best seasons were between 1990 to 1993, when they appeared in four consecutive Super Bowl finals. And ever since, they have been trying to find out ways to regain their former glory, and even make their dreams of a Super Bowl title come true. Last season after making the playoffs, they were eliminated in the divisional round by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Amidst the team’s hopes of NFL glory, the Bills are getting an upgrade. A $1.5 billion upgrade, to be exact. Could this improvement project in the franchise be a door for them to be one of the top-ranking teams in the NFL?

The Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park has been the home ground for the Bills in the NFL since 1973. The stadium has seen the various highs and lows of the franchise throughout the decades. Now, memories at the Highmark Stadium are set to be memories for a lifetime, as the Buffalo Bills are going to have a new stadium for themselves in the coming years ahead.

The Bills are set to move to New York state, as a $1.5 billion project has been given a seal of approval to build a new and improved stadium for the Bills. According to reports, the New York State will be funding $600 million of the $1.4 billion project, with the NFL and the Bills investing $550 million and Erie County $250 million. The new stadium will be owned by the state rather than the county, just like Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. And a recent post announces the groundbreaking ceremony of the new stadium on Monday at 9 AM. The post by News 4 WIVB Buffalo states that Bills owner Terry Pegula, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, GM Brandon Beane, and HC Sean McDermott will be in attendance amongst others.
