It was an instant classic meme, which portrayed Brady as actor Will Smith and his retirement as comedian Chris Rock.

The 94th Academy Awards incident has been trending everywhere on social media. The comedian Chris Rock while presenting an award, offended Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, which led to Mr. Smith storming and slapping Rock. As with anything else, Twitter instantly turned it into a meme, and Edelman did share his masterpiece with NFL fans.

Being Brady’s former teammate, Edelman was seen with the Buccaneers QB catching some footballs in a post on social media. While Brady’s comeback was surprising, Edelman showed he still has the skills to pay the bills. Edelman teased the NFL fans about a reunion with his tweet on social media, prompting former teammates in TE Rob Gronkowski and Matthew Judon to cheer him.
