Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith Schuster is heading towards free agency next month. He is expecting the Steelers to offer him a competitive contract to make him stay with them. However, if that ever happens is yet to be seen.

The receiver recently paid a visit to the Cowboys’ facility to shoot a commercial with his 7-11 sponsorship. He was awestruck with their “amazing” work environment and the privilege that the Cowboys players had. After working for so long with the Steelers, the JuJu has certainly grown an opinion on them. He believes that the Steelers still have a long way to go to match Dallas Cowboys.

JuJu Smith Schuster compares Pittsburgh Steelers with Dallas Cowboys

“It’s unbeatable,” Smith-Schuster said of the Cowboys’ facility, via Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.“The Steelers are still working on trying to get out of the wooden locker rooms. And over here, it’s very prestige. Oh, they’ll definitely hear this. I want them [the Steelers] to hear this.”

The Steelers will definitely hear it. But it will only make it difficult for the 25-year-old to get that competitive edge on his new contract. Head coach Mike Tomlin during an interview in November stated that he would want his players to feel like volunteers rather than hostages. But this critical take by the wideout on the Steelers facility might invite some backlash on him.

JuJu wants to play alongside Dak Prescott

There is no room for doubt that the AT&T Stadium is one of the best stadiums in the entire NFL, and it is very common for someone to get blown away by its architectural marvel. However, what blew away JuJu most was the amount of effort that the franchise puts on its players.

JuJu had already shown some interest in playing alongside Dak Prescott. And so when taking that conversation forward, JuJu opened up and said, “Catching balls from him (Prescott) in a facility like this, I wouldn’t mind it. He has some good guys around him, a great team, a great organization. So you never know.”

The receiver surely splattered some words that might not project loyalty towards his franchise. And it is yet to be seen how this scenario plays out in the coming few weeks. Do you think that JuJu will receive a dream come true offer from the Cowboys? Or will he even be offered a contract extension from the Steelers? Let us know in the comments below!
