The Buffalo Bills had quite an interesting season in 2022. While they were able to make it to the postseason, they made an early exit. One of the reasons that were speculated was that the QB, Josh Allen might not have enough help in terms of offensive receives. They even went on to bring in another running back that might help their chances. Furthermore, they took steps at the NFL Draft that might make a difference in their offensive capabilities.

The Bills did some great work at the draft as they were able to acquire some good offensive talent that might help them. The general manager of the Bills even spoke about the rationale behind their acquisition on the Rich Eisen show.

The Bills’ general manager, Brandon Beane came on to the Rich Eisen Show and spoke about the Bills’ decisions during the Draft. He mentioned that the Bills were motivated to be looking forward to adding more strength to their offensive capabilities in terms of receiving and running the ball. This materialized in his decision to draft tight end, Dalton Kincaid.

Beane was excited about their decision. While speaking about their choice to draft Kincaid, he said, “Rich we were you know coming in this draft not necessarily saying first round. We needed to add you know receiver tight end whatever it may be but we were hoping to add a weapon in some form or fashion to add to our group.”

Kincaid’s accolades

Kincaid was picked relatively early by the Buffalo Bills with the 25 picks in the draft. This pick makes sense given Kincaid’s record in college. In the 25 games that he played, he went on to score 16 touchdowns, about 1400 yards and 106 receives. He even went on to score 96 points in his 3 years of college football out of which all of them were during 2 years of playing.

All in all, Kincaid seems to be a good pick for the Bills to have considering their goals of increasing their receiving as well as running capabilities. It only remains to be seen how well Kincaid will work out in the 2023 regular season.
