During Sunday’s talk, Josh Allen and Peter King concluded their chat. Allen’s humorous exit, abandoning the microphone, left King handshake-less. Peter King made a recent appearance on the Mike Florio NFL on NBC show, where Mike asked in a lighthearted manner: “Josh Allen handshake, that you finally did. You were hanging in there, that was some complicated stuff?”
Reporter King responds: “Look, you know, it was the funniest thing, Mike. Those who have seen this. ‘Josh got Peter. Oh, he got him good.”
66 YO King added, “Let me just tell you something, Josh Allen is a humorous dude, ‘shall we say?’ and so, after that thing happened last year, he was determined that we were going to do something kind of fun. And so we came into it this year and just sorted it out.”
Also, King mentioned, he said sorry to Allen last year and laughed with each other this year. But Allen made everyone laugh and remember their funny moment from last year. Allegedly, they planned this joke together and showed they were friends later in the scene with a peculiar handshake.
The moment Josh Allen went viral
In a previously viral clip, Peter King’s earlier interview with Josh Allen gained attention. When Allen extended his hand for a shake at the interview’s conclusion, King remained oblivious, although the cameras caught the gesture. This left Allen waiting with an outstretched hand as King concluded his remarks, “For NBC Sports, Bills Camp. This is Peter King.” Eventually, King noticed and offered a handshake, unaware of the brief awkwardness.
