Green Bay Packers QB legend Aaron Rodgers has established himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks to play in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers has established himself as an icon in the eyes of the fans of the Packers after Brett Favre, due to his 18-season career at Green Bay and his four-time MVP award. After dedicating his whole life to one team, A-Rod will probably move ahead with his career after he voiced his intentions of playing for the New York Jets. But he is not the only footballer from the Rodgers household. A-Rod’s younger brother was also in the NFL. But the fame and recognition of Aaron Rodgers overshadowed him because of his talent in football.
Many often compared the younger sibling, Jordan Rodgers, to Aaron’s achievements, which prevented him from being recognized in the NFL.

To the surprise of many, Jordan Rodgers was also an NFL player in the QB position, like his brother. But the only difference that remained between the siblings was that Jordan could not make an impact on the game at the same level as his brother. This led to A-Rod overtaking his younger brother as a talented QB in the NFL. Jordan felt that people were always drawing comparisons between him and Aaron, which led to him never building a name for himself in the NFL.
Jordan said, “No matter what I did, it was never good enough for a coach or for a teammate, because I was being compared to someone who did it best.” When in college, they even taunted Jordan for being A-Rod’s brother.

Jordan Rodgers’s stint in the NFL
Unlike his four-time MVP brother, Jordan did not have a glorious career in the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars initially signed him as an undrafted free agent after the 2013 NFL Draft. But his stay was brief, as the Jaguars released him in the same year. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers then signed him as a part of their practice squad. After spending one entire season with the Bucs, he was then a part of the Miami Dolphins after leaving Tampa Bay in 2014. His stint with the Dolphins was short as well, exiting the team in the same year again.
He then joined the practice squad of the CFL team, the BC Lions. Post this, Jordan Rodgers decided to call it quits altogether in the hopes of making a career out of football. ESPN then signed him as a college football analyst. Currently, Jordan is making a career in the entertainment media, after leaving his professional footballing career behind.
