The game between the Bucs and the Bengals will be remembered for days to come. The Bucs were doing very well until the end of the first half. The players were all fulfilling their roles and playing fearlessly, catching well-placed passes and covering the ground ferociously. The Bucs had a commanding lead of 17 points at one point during the game.
This is usually when people switch off their televisions and walk out of the stadium, for no one can imagine Brady losing a game like this. In fact, Tom Brady holds a record of never losing a game where he has a 17-point game. The record is especially notable because of his 20-plus years in the league. However, Burrow might have forgotten the message.

Brady held an iconic record that he had carefully accumulated over 20 years of his career. His record was 89-0 whenever his team was leading by 17 points. Just like his numerous records, his 89-0 record was one that was meant to be unbreakable. However, the young buck from LSU did not seem to care.
The Burrow-led Bengals seemed to be on a mission after their second quarter. The Bengals played brilliant defense throughout the second half to ensure that they could restrict the Bucs to only 6 points. The Bengals, on the other hand, scored a whopping 31 points to bring back their 17 points deficit. However, the Bucs were no slouches during the first quarter.
Tom Brady and his wasted 1st half efforts
Brady started off the game really well. He fired off 2 major touchdown passes to bring a quick 14 points for the team. He commanded his troops really well throughout the first half. The Bucs ended up scoring a Goliath 17 to Bengals’ David 3. There were already cheers for a win. However, after multiple turnovers, a miscommunicated punt fake, and 2 interceptions, the Bucs were in the dumps. With Burrow’s excellent 200 yards, 4 touchdowns, and absolute gumption, the supposedly unbeatable record was broken.
Ultimately, the Bucs have now lost 8 games with a 2 game-losing streak. As the season is coming to an end, the Bucs will really need to up their game. While they might make the playoffs, they will need to play a more composed game of football if they hope to mount a campaign for another championship.
