The Cincinnati Bengals are the new AFC champions. Joe Burrow and his team have defeated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The game was in Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Chiefs. Kansas City fans were loud, and it is always difficult for a team to win an away game there.

The Cincinnati fans still showed up to support their team. They help the Bengals to make an incredible comeback. They were loud enough for their team. With the support of the fans, the Bengals won the AFC title. After the match, Joe Burrow expressed his gratitude towards the supporters. 

The Bengals vs the Chiefs

The AFC championship final on Sunday began with the Chiefs on the attack. It did not take long before Patrick Mahomes put some points on the board. With around 7 minutes left, Mahomes connected with the wide receiver, Tyreek Hill. The 10-yard drive got the Chiefs their first touchdown of the day. The Bengals were only able to get three points in the first quarter.

The second quarter began with another impressive Chiefs’ TD. Mahomes looked like he was dancing on the field. With an amazing connection to TE Travis Kelce in the end zone, Kansas increased its lead. With around 5 minutes left, Mecole Hardman made another TD. Kansas was now 21-3. In the dying moments of the second quarter, the RB Samaje Perine got the Bengals their first TD of the game.

The comeback was on in the second half. The Bengals looked like a different team. The halftime speech by the coach in the Bengals locker room must be really inspiring. Because the team made an unbelievable comeback. Cincinnati tied the score and won the game in overtime. The match-up ended with a score of 24-27. 

Joe Burrow thanks the fans for their support

After the game, Joe Burrow appeared for the press conference. A reporter asked Joe how he feels after winning the AFC championship and going to the Super Bowl.

The QB said“It was exciting, exciting to see all the fans that stayed around. It was tough to hear all the Bengals fans in the stadium, but they showed up. — That was exciting. Now I’m excited to get back to Cincinnati and see everybody.”

The support of the fans is what helps the teams win their games. Will the support of the Bengals fans be enough to win the Super Bowl?
