Joe Burrow has presented his childhood idol Kid Cudi with a gift he will never forget. The Bengals sensation gifted Cudi with his jersey, which he wore during his 24-27 overtime win against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

The Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback has reached the Super Bowl in his second year in the NFL, and he is very humble about it. Especially to the American rap icon Kid Cudi, which Joey has followed since his childhood. He even gave a big shout-out to the Ohio-based rapper after winning the Lamar Hunt Trophy. 

“One of my idols growing up, Kid Cudi reached out to me yesterday. You said I got LeBron tweeting me or whatever you said it was,” Burrow told reporters post-game. “That part is surreal; the football part, not so much.”

Kid Cudi replied, thanking the 25-year-old quarterback for his kind words. He even asked the quarterback for his game-worn jersey, which is what Joey gifted him. After receiving the jersey, the 38-year-old rapper thanked the sensational LSU alumni on Twitter.

“Ok. So after the Bengals win against the Chiefs, I hit Joe and congratulated him and asked if I could have his jersey. He said yes and sent it right away. I’m rockin this b*tch to the game and then framing it. I am so geeked right now,” he tweeted.

The two surely, developed a great friendship, especially after Joey B got drafted. He even gave the rapper a big shoutout, stating him as his favorite artist of all time on his draft day. The rapper recorded a video message congratulating the QB and wishing him luck for his upcoming career.

Though Burrow failed to impress many during his debut season after suffering an ACL injury, he certainly did not miss the opportunity this time. The youngster helped Cincinnati clinch their first Super Bowl berth in 33 years and may even help them win their first Super Bowl ever.

According to auctioneer Ken Goldin, Joe Burrow’s AFC jersey is likely to be around $100,000, in worth. And that value is only to appreciate if the Bengals claim the Lombardi Trophy. It is certainly, a precious gift given by the quarterback to his childhood idol.

It will only be seen on 13th February, whether the value of that jersey appreciates or not.
