In week 3 of this season, Peyton Manning was covering the Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys game. While covering the game, Manning was talking about the defensive plays made in the match. The guest on the show was Troy Aikman. Aikman is an expert in his field and knows what he is talking about. He was giving Peyton pointers about the defensive plays.

Manning joked and said, “I don’t like having a co-host that knows as much as I do about coverage. I need a co-host that knows nothing about defensive coverages like Joe Buck. Peyton was referring to the expert knowledge of Aikman at the expense of Joe Buck. Buck did not get the chance to get back at Manning instantly. He had to wait for the right opportunity.

Joe Buck finally got his revenge
The latest edition of the Monday Night Football featured the Manning brothers with a special guest. The guest was Joe Buck. The veterans were covering the recent New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills game.
During the coverage, Peyton Manning asked Joe Buck, “Joe, when you have a blowout game, do you ever wish you could have a guest on there that you and Troy can interview?” Buck saw the perfect opportunity and seized it. He replied, “Yeah, you l know the last time I thought about that was when you guys played Seattle in the Super Bowl.”

The comment by Buck was a reference to a painful 43-8 loss suffered by Peyton in the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks in 2014.
