JJ Watt shocked the Houston Texans fanbase when he announced his decision to part ways with the franchise earlier this month.
Watt arrived in the NFL as a 1st-round pick (11th overall) back in 2011. He spent over 10 years in Houston while going on to establish himself as one of the greatest defensive ends of the last decade.

Watt won numerous individual accolades for his displays, including 3 DPOTY awards. The 5-time Pro Bowler endured a difficult outing with the Texans in 2020 as they finished 3rd in the AFC South behind Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts with a 4-12 record.
With multiple teams fighting for his signature, JJ Watt’s wide Kealia Mae Watt has could be the driving force behind a potential deal with NFC North franchise Chicago Bears.

As Texans fans will be aware, JJ Watt’s wife Kealia is a forward for NWSL franchise Chicago Red Stars. The pair met when she was playing for Houston Dash between 2015-2019. She moved to the Red Stars 2 years ago and now JJ Watt could follow.
Kealia has gone on to like several tweets on social media, suggesting a potential move that brings Watt to the Matt Nagy-coached Chicago Bears in the ongoing offseason.
Of course, the Bears will have a lot of work to do in order to get some cap space and tie-down Watt to a short-term deal.

But the idea of reuniting with his beautiful wife might just work in Chicago’s favor. Additionally, with Mitchell Trubisky out of contract with the Bears, coach Nagy might use Watt to lure wantaway Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson to Chicago as well.
