Ryan Reynolds inspired Watt to make moves in the world of soccer

JJ Watt recently announced that he is becoming an investor at Burnley FC with his wife Kealia. Soccer is as big in England as football is in America. And Burnley FC is on their way to compete in the English Premier League (EPL) next season after winning the Championship. The investment seems to be inspired by Ryan Reynolds’s investment in Wrexham FC, one of the oldest clubs in English football. Through exemplary marketing and promotion skills, the Hollywood actor has been able to build a strong social media presence for Wrexham. It also further leveraged them to branch out their revenue streams, securing kit sponsorship deals with TikTok, Expedia, and Vista Prints, to name a few.

Now, JJ Watt’s investment might pave the way for Burnley as well, as they will compete in the highest tier of English football under the guidance of their coach Vincent Kompany, who won 4 Premier League titles with Manchester City. It will certainly be an interesting time ahead for fans of soccer in the coming days ahead.
