This attitude of the 49ers quarterback has impressed a particular American sports media personality. Colin Cowherd has been such a fan of Jimmy G that he would even consider going on a vacation with him. Cowherd even gave a bizarre compliment to the QB.

Jimmy Garoppolo has been amazing ever since he joined the NFL. He started his career with the New England Patriots. Jimmy G was a backup quarterback for Tom Brady at a point. But by the end of the 2017 season, Garoppolo was traded to the San Francisco 49ers.

Ever since joining the Niners, Jimmy has made a great impact. The 49ers have a record of 35-15 in all the games they start with him. Without Garoppolo, they have a record of 8-20. Rather than being a phenomenal quarterback on the field, Garoppolo is a really fun individual to hang out with. He makes people around him feel good. Jimmy is a guy’s guy. His teammates love him. 

Colin Cowherd compared Jimmy G with Marvel movies

In a recent episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, the journalist was talking about Jimmy Garoppolo. He said people have had mixed opinions about the Niners’ quarterback. Some defend him, and some dislike him.

During the broadcast, Cowherd said that he only vacations with a few people, and Colin would love to go on one with Jimmy Garoppolo. He even compared Garoppolo with Marvel movies. Colin said, “He Reminds Me Of Those Marvel Movies.” He adds, “I know they’re not great cinema. I know they won’t win Oscars… But they always make me feel good when I walk out of the theater.”

Cowherd explained that the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes old people laugh and makes them go back to their childhood and comic books. While these movies also make young people laugh. Marvel movies are for everyone. That is how he feels about Jimmy Garoppolo. It was such a strange concept, but when you think about it, it makes sense.
