Jimmy Garoppolo is probably on cloud 9 as the San Francisco 49ers have beaten the mighty Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. It was surely an exciting game for the Niners since they started slowly but made a crucial comeback towards the end of the game. The Niners are turning out to be the most surprising team of the season.

The Niners started the season with a mere 2-4 record, now they have reached the NFC Championship game. And it is that fighting spirit of the Niners that has encouraged the quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo throughout the season. The Packers looked lethal under the leadership of Aaron Rodgers, and many believed that they would be a tough NFC Championship competitor to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, unfortunately, they did not make it that far, and it is yet to be seen if the Bucs win against the skillful Rams. But one thing is for sure the 49ers have already punched their ticket for the Championship game next week. And the 30-year-old quarterback Jimmy G is just enthralled by his team.

Jimmy Garoppolo on the fighting spirit of the San Francisco 49ers

“We just find a way,” Jimmy told the pool of reporters during the post-game press conference. “Every week’s different. You know we’ve done it multiple ways, but just the fight in this team is ridiculous. It really is, that no giving up, you can feel that on the sideline. You can already know when things aren’t going well. Defense was balling. Today was everything we thought it was gonna be.”

The Packers started off the game on a good note. They scored a touchdown early on yet failed to secure that lead by the end. The defense and the offense of both the teams showed resilience and competitiveness, however, the special teams made a difference during the game.
