Both Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have touched the pinnacle of success in the NFL. While 39-year-old Rodgers is gearing up for his New York Jets debut after being traded, Brady called it quits on his glorious 23-season career earlier this year. Apart from their illustrious on-field careers, both QBs have also been involved in a lot of philanthropic work in recent years.

When it comes to extending a helping hand to the community, both Rodgers and Brady have been relentlessly working for the betterment of underprivileged people as well as children. And these contributions raise a very interesting question. Could Brady or Rodgers go on to participate in elections to become the President of America?

Aaron Rodgers has been someone who is never shy to voice out his opinions. During the pandemic, he was in the midst of widespread criticism for his views on vaccines for Covid. And this characteristic rubbed off on his ex-Packers best friend David Bakhtiari. The Packers OT recently criticized the government when he talked about how POTUS Joe Biden’s interviews are. And now, he took to social media to talk about how he envisions someone new to run the government.

In a recent tweet by Bakhtiari, we see him talk about the requirements in terms of age to become the President of the United States, which is the age of 35. He then went on to talk about John F. Kennedy and his tenure, stating, “JFK was the youngest ELECTED President at 43 yrs old.” Bakhtiari then stated that it would be “refreshing to see a competent candidate” who is in their 40s or 50s become the POTUS in the future. While 80-year-old Joe Biden currently runs the country, Bakhtiari wants to see someone younger bring in a fresh perspective to running the government.

Could the QBs be great Presidents as well?

The QBs both stand at the forefront when it comes to working for the people of America. Aaron Rodgers contributed around $1 million to the North Valley Community Foundation to help local small businesses in Butte County tackle the pandemic hit. He also extended his support to Midwest Athletes against Childhood Cancer (MACC), which aims to combat cancer and blood-borne diseases in children, amongst other works of giving back to the community. While the Jets’ QB does not stay too involved with politics, he had high praise for former POTUS Barack Obama during a recent podcast of Joe Rogan.

On the other hand, even the NFL GOAT has been a part of several charity works. From Best Buddies International, which helps almost 200 million people worldwide with emotional or intellectual disability, to co-founding the TB12 Foundation to help athletes get medical and nutritional support, Brady has been involved in a lot of various efforts. He was also good friends with former POTUS Donald Trump since 2001 before politics affected their friendship subsequently. With the fame and recognition these two QBs have, one cannot help but ponder the possibility of seeing these NFL stars become leaders in the foreseeable future. Do you think it may happen one day?
