After four months with the Jets, Aaron Rodgers is finally making his debut. The QB will kick off his maiden appearance with the Green Gang, as they face the Giants on Saturday, August 26 in a preseason match. Rodgers spent the last three preseason matches on the sidelines donning a headset and his debut was not expected until the regular season. However, coach Robert Saleh confirmed the news marking Rodgers’ preseason return after a five-year hiatus.
As the prep sessions intensify, Rodgers is leaving no stone unturned in his efforts. However, the team’s performance also matters, apparently affecting the QB’s temperament.

Rodgers does not want to come off as an intimidating figure at all. The four-time NFL MVP is very well aware of the narrative that is making the rounds in the camp that he might ‘snap’ at any moment if the players don’t watch out. Rodgers cleared the air. “I don’t feel like I’m the snapping type anymore. I mean, I’m going to raise my level of intensity, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to embarrass anybody”, he divulged.
Rodgers maintains that he values ‘respect’ and ‘kindness’ within the team. “There’s going to be accountability though for sure, and accountability is all in the preparation”, he further adds. He also insists he wants the team to think through things, take note of the stuff that frequently comes up in sessions, and not repeat the mistakes.
