The New York Jets find themselves in a challenging situation following the loss of their star player for the entire season. Aaron Rodgers suffered a setback in his Jets debut during Monday night football against the Buffalo Bills. Shockingly, within the first quarter and just four minutes into the game, Rodgers was tackled by Bills edge rusher Leonard Floyd, resulting in a complete tear of his left Achilles tendon.

He underwent successful surgery in the days following the injury, as he shared with his fans on Instagram. However, being ruled out for the entire season presents a formidable challenge for the Jets. The lingering question now revolves around who will fill the void left by the 39-year-old NFL legend. While several names are being considered, rumors of another legend’s potential arrival are swirling—the name of Tom Brady.

Nonetheless, just days after the Brady-to-Jets rumors emerged, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported on Wednesday morning that the Jets won’t be reaching out to Brady about a potential return to football. Brady himself has made it clear that he is done with playing football.
