According to reports from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, a tragic incident occurred involving Alex Collins as he was riding a motorcycle that collided with a sport-utility vehicle on Sunday night at around 10:20 pm in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. The SUV was executing a left turn when Collins’ motorcycle impacted its rear passenger side. The collision propelled Collins through a window of the SUV, where he came to rest, resulting in his unfortunate demise, as confirmed by the Sheriff’s office.

Collins was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. On the other hand, the identity of the driver, who cooperated with authorities and remained at the scene, was not disclosed. Collins’ heartbreaking news sent shockwaves through the NFL community. Former Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and ex-Ravens signal-caller Robert Griffin III, among others, extended their condolences to their late teammate.
