Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have acquired defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins from the Las Vegas Raiders. Hankins was a second-round pick in the 2013 draft from Ohio State.

His first few years in the league were with the New York Giants followed by a stint at the Indianapolis Colts. The Cowboys have also reportedly acquired a 2024 seventh-round pick from the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for a 2023 sixth-round pick.

On Twitter, Calvin Watkins, who covers the Cowboys for the Dallas Morning News, said, “After Jerry Jones told us this Sunday about a possible trade: ‘I don’t see that. You always, if it’s of the magnitude of getting Deion Sanders on this team, I’ll grab the phone.”

With one of the best defenses in the NFL, the addition of Hankins to the lineup will only strengthen the Cowboys further. While the team made the official decision, as usual, fans on Twitter had their say in it.
