The hottest free agent at the moment, Odell Beckham Jr. is currently searching for a team to potentially play in the playoffs. He recently recovered from his ACL injury that he suffered during the Super Bowl earlier this year and is all cleared to compete again.

Many teams are looking for an explosive wide receiver like OBJ, especially the Cowboys. the owner of the Cowboys, Jerry Jones, has been teasing fans a lot during the season about potentially signing the 30-year-old wide receiver. However, OBJ is exploring the league and looking at his best options and it did not seem to bother Jones that much.
Jerry Jones opens up about Odell Beckham Jr. exploring other teams
Earlier, the Cowboys journalist Jon Machota shared some details from Jones’ weekly radio interview. In that interview, Jones was asked whether he felt uneasiness about OBJ visiting other teams. In reply, the Cowboys owner said, “Not at all. As a matter of fact, if you look at what precedes us before you get here, so to speak, physically, coming to visit. I like that, as to other teams, we don’t have anything to take a step back on that.“
He later talked about the football heritage of the Cowboys. “And then, of course, I know what this area is. I know what the Dallas area is. I know what football means to this area. And I do know that we’re the most visible team. From that standpoint, there’s a lot of interest in it. And everybody likes to be part of something that’s substantive, and that’s the Cowboys,” Jones further said.

Notably, Jones and OBJ both endured a lot of controversies recently. OBJ particularly faced a lot of criticism regarding getting removed from an LA-bound flight after refusing to wear a seatbelt and looking ill. Then, an old video of him sneaking alcohol on a flight resurfaced, which prompted fans to go against him.
Jones talked about the OBJ controversy and he made it clear that it won’t change his mind about signing the wide receiver. Apart from Jones and the Cowboys, the Bills and the Giants are also chasing after OBJ. Notably, Beckham Jr. was with the Giants till 2019 and then, he went to the Browns. Later the Rams added the wide receiver for the 2021-22 season and won the Super Bowl.
Although OBJ got injured during the Super Bowl, he definitely made an impact on the team. As many teams are looking beyond the regular season, they are certainly trying to strengthen their squad for the playoffs. The Bills, the Cowboys, and the Giants are currently in a great spot to qualify for the playoffs and one of them could make it to the Super Bowl. So, it will be interesting to see which team OBJ ultimately chooses.
